Made By Mutta!

The difficulty of finding shoes with custom models with superior quality drove designer Matheus Simões Pires – 22 year old product design student and a footwear design technician from Costa of Porto Alegre, Brazil – to create MUTTA Shoes!

“I started making shoes two years ago because I could not find shoes with the design, quality and exclusivity I wanted. I fell in love with footwear designing and the production process. I later found out that people liked what I was designing and started producing and selling my designs. The rest is hard work and history.” stated Matheus.

Created in a series of workshops by experienced artisans, every Mutta creation focuses on quality, originality and uniqueness. Mutta’s clients belong to a group of creative minds seeking the same goals and ideals as the brand. “Something classic and crafted with an experimental feel” as Matheus describes.
All MUTTA Shoes are made on demand and production takes up to 30 days. All available styles can be viewed and purchased on their web store here:
There will be a limited amount of exclusive MUTTA lovelies on sale at STR.CRD.

Through Shaded Eyes (TSE) is the brainchild of Tokelo Motsepe. A retail buyer and digital strategist with an addiction to blogging, this blog is a platform for my style, life and love for fashion to be shared. What started as an escape from the hustle and bustle of the world, has now become a place to let out my passion for fashion & writing, in-between time spent at work, traveling, or doing everything else life throws at me… it has become a form of expression and I hope it can inspire and encourage you to also share!
