Fun in the Sun with Puma

This Saturday, I Joined Puma at The Creative Factory as they promoted sustainable fashion. We are all too familiar with the words “eco-friendly” and some have embraced this new way of life more than others… myself falling into  the group of “others”. Not because I don’t care for our beloved planet, Lord knows I do – I fight with anyone that tries to litter in my presence – but I’m one that doesn’t embrace change much in general. Anyway, my fun experience with Puma this weekend had me singing a whole new tune…
Starting by picking up a plain t-shirt… #SquareOne
Paints in developing tent… “dark room” …actually more like boiler room lol #theheat
Image I chose… cause I’m just filled with looove!

Sun rays caused the ink to develop, similarly to a photograph, everything that was dark in the image i chose, turned out light and all that was light became dark. #excitingstuff

How my tee turned out! #soproud

…Puma took us back in time and had us building our own pin-hole camera (don’t know what that is, click here), and being the lover of vintage that I am #FunFactAboutMe I just had to get involved!
Needless to say not instantly seeing how my pics turn out is reeeeally difficult for me, but I am still taking pics with the cute lil pin-hole camera and I’ll be sure to show you all how they turn out as soon as the film is filled up and pics are developed – *sigh* to think this was the standard process not so long ago! #iheartdigitalcameras
The awesome DJs kept us happy and bobbin our heads well into the afternoon and later got everyone amped up for the after party at the Puma Social Club!

Through Shaded Eyes (TSE) is the brainchild of Tokelo Motsepe. A retail buyer and digital strategist with an addiction to blogging, this blog is a platform for my style, life and love for fashion to be shared. What started as an escape from the hustle and bustle of the world, has now become a place to let out my passion for fashion & writing, in-between time spent at work, traveling, or doing everything else life throws at me… it has become a form of expression and I hope it can inspire and encourage you to also share!
