The Good Life

Anyone remember one Doctor Oz?
Well, we were first introduced to the doc by Oprah, Dr. Oz would come onto her show to do some medical myth busting and share and discuss titbits and topics we never knew about our bodies. Ok, well fast forward a couple of years and dude has since had a few TV shows and his own magazine, The Good Life, that launched earlier this month… aaah, the power that is Oprah Winfrey.
Anyway, I recently went trolling the net for yummy new recipes that would best benefit my body for a challenging day at work and I bumped into the Doctor Oz website (which is how I found out all the stuff I shared) and it has been an amazing source for recipes for me, both for food and smoothies.
Perfect for breakfast, the “green drink” is high in fiber, low-calorie and rich in vitamins and it’s said that Dr. Oz swears by it!

You will need…

2 cups spinach
1/2 cucumber
1/4 head of celery
1/2 bunch parsley
1 bunch mint
3 carrots
2 apples
1/4 orange
1/4 lime
1/4 lemon
1/4 pineapple
Combine all ingredients in a blender and serve.
I hope you all enjoy it!
