Spree Magazine

A couple of weeks ago, online retailer, Spree launched the first issue of their magazine.

I must admit my skepticism, at first… I rolled my eye’s thinking “not another one”! magazine_leftR

Just the whole concept of online reading, don’t know if its cause I’m getting old or something, lol; as I don’t mind skimming through a mag online taking in the visuals, but I don’t enjoy reading lengthy articles with that lit screen glaring at me.  I know it doesn’t make sense considering the essays I can read through on whatsapp.

The Spree mag changed my view on online magazines completely. I mean, I think its more like a mini mag, with this ravishing read only spreading across about 20 pages; with interesting interviews, how-to’s, fabulous fashion editorials, but my favourite thing about this magazine has to be that you can click though and buy what you see, right then and there from the Spree online store – no more going to a shop with your little picture, only to find the style sold out weeks ago.

Aaaaah the joys of technology!

Through Shaded Eyes (TSE) is the brainchild of Tokelo Motsepe. A retail buyer and digital strategist with an addiction to blogging, this blog is a platform for my style, life and love for fashion to be shared. What started as an escape from the hustle and bustle of the world, has now become a place to let out my passion for fashion & writing, in-between time spent at work, traveling, or doing everything else life throws at me… it has become a form of expression and I hope it can inspire and encourage you to also share!
