His x Hers

So this minimalist, masculine or boyfriend trend, hell, whatever you choose to call it has me caught up. While most dig into their beau’s closet, I’m constantly finding myself lost in the men’s section… if it’s not in search of a slouchy, cut out style vest that I can’t seem to find on our side of the world, then it’s in search of a denim shirt or something or the other. Processed with VSCOcam Processed with VSCOcam Processed with VSCOcam The classic white shirt is a wardrobe staple, but I felt I needed a bit of back up for the coming winter. Ditsy dots, strong stripes, and a darker denim shirt are the three that came out tops for me, these will be easy to wear with just about anything and with each having slightly different cuts and textures, they aren’t quite the same; so no, a shirt is not a shirt, is not a shirt, catch my drift? With my love for layering still going strong, I didn’t see why these couldn’t be mixed and matched to be worn all in one go hehe.

Through Shaded Eyes (TSE) is the brainchild of Tokelo Motsepe. A retail buyer and digital strategist with an addiction to blogging, this blog is a platform for my style, life and love for fashion to be shared. What started as an escape from the hustle and bustle of the world, has now become a place to let out my passion for fashion & writing, in-between time spent at work, traveling, or doing everything else life throws at me… it has become a form of expression and I hope it can inspire and encourage you to also share!
