Fur or Foe

One of the biggest trends coming through for winter has to be the furry kind. Fashion folk across the northern hemisphere could not be seen out in the cold without a luxurious looking [faux] fur coat on; and with good reason, since temperatures up there can drop below zero.

Now I’m all for following trends, almost as much as the next fashionista, but I must admit, I feel wearing a whole thick fur coat in our mild South African winters just doesn’t seem practical, unless of course you plan on not wearing anything under it he he..

So I won’t be wearing a fur coat out and about this winter, and cause I really don’t get the thinking behind sleeveless coats/jackets in winter, I won’t be wearing a furry version of that either.

All is not lost though, cause where there is a will, there is a way. One way I plan on bringing in some fierce furriness into my winter looks will be with a fur clutch bag. I mean, look at the one’s I’ve spotted, it brings a cuddlesome cosiness to the whole ensemble, no?

Problem is, I have yet to find one, so please do pop me a comment or tweet and let me know where I can find one.

What do you think? Would you try out this furry little friend or is this more of a faux fur foe?
