Retro

Last week I shared my new favourite winter item (HERE), and I said I would show how to style it up, and well, here it is. Super comfy, I had to pair it with a wide-leg (high-waisted) pair of denims. The high-slits gave me easy access to my pockets and the breezy ensemble just had me feeling so free.

I was never really a fan of fashion from the 70’s, as I find the styles quite awkward, not so easy to wear – in the sense that they don’t necessarily go with a lot in your closet, and I may like loose fitting dresses and skirts, but was never really a fan of loose-fitting pants.. until now. I mean, why did nobody ever tell me how comfortable they can be?!

As you may have noticed in looks you’ve seen me in, I prefer my clothes more fitted, so I have to say I enjoyed discovering that I could find comfort in this retro 70’s inspired look. I topped the light wash denim and cream knit with a faux fur jacket, mainly because it was cold out, but I love how all the neutral elements just bring the whole look together.

A retail buyer and digital strategist with an addiction to blogging, this blog is a platform for my style, life and love for fashion to be shared. What started as an escape from the hustle and bustle of the world, has now become a place to let out my passion for fashion & writing, in-between time spent at work, traveling, or doing everything else life throws at me… it has become a form of expression and I hope it can inspire and encourage you to also share!
