These Boots are made for…

As the season’s change one has to make sure they are armed with the right tools to brave the cold to come, I’m talking piles of knitwear, ginger, leggings for days, honey, a heater, hot water bottle, electric blanket, scarves on scarves on scarves, and of course a trendy pair of boots to carry you through with all those essentials in tow lol. I’m not even playing, the cold fronts are not wasting any time people, this winter is going to be a cold one, so brace yourselves.

Back to the most important thing on that extensive list and my latest obsession, this 70’s inspired snake embossed uptown long leather boots that seem to go perfectly with pretty much everything I wear these days.. you know that feeling when you are like “what did I wear before I bought these?!” LOL

Snakeskin boots are quite the trend this season and I first fell in love when I saw one of my favourite bloggers wearing a similar pair last year HERE and I must admit to being eager for winter to roll around since then, just so I could get me a pair.

If you follow me on snapchat you might have seen me trolling our stores for my perfect fit and after quite a few pairs, a few uhmm’s and aaah’s and a calf complex later, I randomly found these lovelies at Mimco, when I was there covering their AW16 launch a couple of weeks ago (covered on my insta & snapchat).

I have to say, they cost me a pretty penny, but they were well worth it… now and then one has to splurge on some key winter items, that’s how you build a good wardrobe that can see you through many different looks and seasons.

Hmmm, maybe that should be what my next post covers.
