Saved by the Bell

The people over at Country Road got wind of my love for knitwear and let me know of some goodies that just dropped.. I went to check em out #asseenonmysnaps and felt like a kid in a candy store  at the sight of all the soft coziness they had.

This one little number stole my heart though, and though it wasn’t the only item I had in the bag when heading home, it was definitely the most loved.

The bell-sleeve is trending right now and the colour neutral, so it will be easy for me to wear it with just about anything; but what really sold me, was the braid/cable detail down the top of the sleeves, how pretty?!

It makes the top stand out and adds a nice touch to the whole look, which I like to be quite simple, so details like this get all the shine. The simple A-line skirt and boots, also from Country Road, add hints of my new favourite colour (black) to the mix.

A comfortable and laid back look that can easily be worn just about anywhere, but I think I may need to go pop back into Country Road again, to get a coat or knit wrap to wear over it, with how cold it’s getting, what do you think?

A retail buyer and digital strategist with an addiction to blogging, this blog is a platform for my style, life and love for fashion to be shared. What started as an escape from the hustle and bustle of the world, has now become a place to let out my passion for fashion & writing, in-between time spent at work, traveling, or doing everything else life throws at me… it has become a form of expression and I hope it can inspire and encourage you to also share!
