Dark Angel #mbfwj

Last week was the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in Johannesburg for Spring/Summer and though work through a spanner in my works, I was able to make it to the last day of the shows and my look for the day [like the rest of my week lol] was more on the dark side.

As you may already know, I have a slight obsession with fringing and Tart Clothing knows how to hold a sister down, with its unique pieces that just keep me coming back for more, and this time I decided to wear this little black number a different way.

The weather was working with me, and I didn’t need to wear something warmer underneath, and could show off the bare back of the dress, but I love that if I needed to, I could have easily layered up.

I traded my slinky heels for my go-to chunky black leather boots, and I must say my feet were uber pleased with me, considering all the walking around I did lol.

Cedric Nzaka of Everyday People Stories did an amazing job capturing my look, and many different fashionista’s over the 3days of fashion week, as well as some of the actual shows and activities happening around the event, be sure to check out his instagram page here to see more.

Through Shaded Eyes (TSE) is the brainchild of Tokelo Motsepe. A retail buyer and digital strategist with an addiction to blogging, this blog is a platform for my style, life and love for fashion to be shared. What started as an escape from the hustle and bustle of the world, has now become a place to let out my passion for fashion & writing, in-between time spent at work, traveling, or doing everything else life throws at me… it has become a form of expression and I hope it can inspire and encourage you to also share!
