Making Waves

Spring is in the air and with it comes a new wind of change.

It’s been cold for far too long and it’s time to peel off the layers worn daily and reveal a new me, a me that is now revitalized and renewed and longing to soak up the sun, laze on beautiful beaches and enjoy hot summer nights out.

I went out to enjoy the day by the beach, not quite in the way that I hoped though; as it wasn’t quite warm enough to be on the beach for me to enjoy the water, but was close enough. I feel the mix of blue hues in my stripes on stripes ensemble had me making my own waves as I went about my day.

Accessories from American Swiss

My accessory overload all from American Swiss, helped add a glisten to my look, which resembled that of the sun reflecting on water; and the little charms on my rings and bracelets adding some spring to my fingertips, with little sparkly butterflies and flowers. The silver accessories also made the zip detail down the front of my skirt stand out more and all that coordinated well with my reflective sunnies, which I couldn’t leave out.

Though I didn’t make it into the water, I enjoyed a nice walk along the beachfront walkway in Camps Bay and the view was beautiful as always.
