Stop Traffic

Ok so its not warming up quite as warm as I expected and as a result I’m living with one foot still stuck in my winter wardrobe and the rest of my body in spring.

Though this means my visits to the beach can’t be a fixed feature on my calendar as yet, the silver lining has to be that I get to mix in and wear my favourite winter boots for a while longer without looking like an oddball.

Tart clothing pieces always have me dancing around (even though I’m not so great at it – see here) and feeling giddy; but I’m not going to on about that again, don’t worry.

I had a 70s vibe going with this look and feel I was channeling the gorgeous Zoe Kravitz with her dark long braid and mysteriousness – not sure I got the second bit right but I love how my dark braids flow into the fringing of the coat dress.

I have really been enjoying the colour black lately, and not only in clothing, but in my hair colour too. Whether its my afro or braids, for the last couple of years, I’ve opted for lighter brown colours, but this winter brought out something different in me I guess.

The question is should I go back to my lighter hair or keep it dark for summer too?
