Dream Chaser

I’ve been suffering from a mild case of writers block lately. I’m not sure if that’s an accurate diagnosis, but basically I’ve been too tired from all that’s happening to write posts at the end of the day as I usually do.

Things at work are just crazy busy and with Christmas coming soon (busy time for us in retail) it’s that much worse and recent travels mixed with friends & family being more demanding is adding pressure on the weekends. My day job has been taking up quite a lot of my time and thoughts lately and though I don’t mind and I love it too, I miss the balance in my life that I’m used to, like this blog.

Going for success down one avenue can cause another to be neglected, even by default (cause there are only so many hours in a day), but the reassuring factor is the hope that it may lead you closer to where you would one day like to be, right?

I just figured I would share some of what’s in my head space, cause I’m sure I am not the only one just trying to make it through each day, trusting that God and all their hard work & efforts will see them through. Sometimes, though all looks so perfect in the images shared on this site, it doesn’t mean life necessarily is… though it doesn’t mean we don’t stop trying, right?

I aim to stay positive and look for the glimmer of light (or sparkle), cause afterall, whether things work out as I hope or not, it all works out for the best… it’s a learning curve, if not a success.

I hope you find comfort in knowing you aren’t the only one going through it and pushing the chase for your dreams and seeking that thing that makes your eyes sparkle.

Through Shaded Eyes (TSE) is the brainchild of Tokelo Motsepe. A retail buyer and digital strategist with an addiction to blogging, this blog is a platform for my style, life and love for fashion to be shared. What started as an escape from the hustle and bustle of the world, has now become a place to let out my passion for fashion & writing, in-between time spent at work, traveling, or doing everything else life throws at me… it has become a form of expression and I hope it can inspire and encourage you to also share!
