I’m not one for a hectic multi step skincare regime, though it may have its benefits, the reality is that I have a crazy busy schedule, with my full-time job, blog and travels, I really don’t have much time to spend on all that.
Now I’m no beauty blogger, but I got this new Hydro Blur moisturizer the other day from the lovely people at Clinique to try out.. I guess they know how things get even more hectic in the summer with ones social calendar (product launch events, days at the beach and catch up dinners, etc.) adding to the already full days and the importance to stay looking good through it all.
Keep an eye on this space for my thoughts on this program and how it goes down with my sensitive skin.
Oh and please do let me know if you have tried this range before, I would like to hear your thoughts.
UPDATE: The above mentioned products really didn’t agree with me.
At first they felt fine and I loved the matte effect, it didn’t leave my dry sensitive skin feeling even more dry as other products I’ve tried in the passed have.
But after a couple of weeks of using the products, my skin started to break out and I developed tiny bumps all over my face, kind of like a little rash. Needless to say, since the only thing that had changed was my skincare routine, I discontinued using the products and after a week it was visibly looking better.
These products weren’t for me, and though the range of Nivea products I was (and am back to) using don’t have that matte effect, they do leave my face feeling fresh and yummy so I’ll be sticking with them for a while to come.
Have you tried the above mentioned products? How did you find them?
