Denim is a big part of most of our lives, whether you wear it on the regular or you’re really just wear a pair on casual Friday… it’s one of those verstile wardrobe staples you are more than happy to turn to.

I’ve always thought of myself as more of a dresses kind of girl, but I feel I just hadn’t quite realised how quickly denim has moved in and taken up ground in my closet lol.. not that I’m complaining, the more the merrier. CLICK HERE to see recent posts of denim looks I shared.

My most recent addition to my denim collection is a cropped blue straight-leg number from Country Road.. I like the length cause this way I can show off my winter boots nicely and have the right mix of stretch in them, for me to laze about reading comfortably. Something I don’t get to do as often as I would like, juggling work, blogging and general life things.

Comfort is a big thing for me, I need what I wear to be comfortable so that I can focus on getting what I need to do done, whether it’s a super long to do list or enjoying some downtime at home, and this pair has just that. So make sure you check back to see how I style these babies up for the streets.

Through Shaded Eyes (TSE) is the brainchild of Tokelo Motsepe. A retail buyer and digital strategist with an addiction to blogging, this blog is a platform for my style, life and love for fashion to be shared. What started as an escape from the hustle and bustle of the world, has now become a place to let out my passion for fashion & writing, in-between time spent at work, traveling, or doing everything else life throws at me… it has become a form of expression and I hope it can inspire and encourage you to also share!
