WAIF | Technicolor Melodrama

A jewellery label with an affinity for utter simplicity.

The brand is inspired by nature and I just love the organic, asymmetric approach the designer takes with each piece.

I discovered the label not so long ago, when I bumped into its lookbook for its classic collection [shown above] and was wowed when I popped back on the site this week to find the gorgeous new lookbook for the Technicolor Melodrama collection, which launched just last week.

I loved the use of raw stones and pop of colour in this collection, while still staying true to the signature simplicity in design and the brushed brass look. Some of my favourites include the cute Sleeping Faces earringsMookaite earrings, Caracole earrings, Jade envelope earrings and the dramatic Japanese Lichen earrings.

Through Shaded Eyes (TSE) is the brainchild of Tokelo Motsepe. A retail buyer and digital strategist with an addiction to blogging, this blog is a platform for my style, life and love for fashion to be shared. What started as an escape from the hustle and bustle of the world, has now become a place to let out my passion for fashion & writing, in-between time spent at work, traveling, or doing everything else life throws at me… it has become a form of expression and I hope it can inspire and encourage you to also share!
